Green Citrusy

From a rough block of material, the artist already sees the final work — and Godimenta is carved like a sculpture. Ginger and bergamot are cut with clean lines, giving off strong, lively energy. Around them, lemon and mint form smooth, flowing curves that feel cool and fresh. Raspberry and jasmine sit like small carvings in the resin veins of white fir. The metallic rose is a solid, shiny shape—almost sharp to the eye. Amber spreads into a soft, rounded base, smoothing out every rough edge. Finally, the woods—sandalwood, cedar, and guaiac—together with musk, give the sculpture a warm glow and a smooth, sensual finish that invites you to touch and enjoy it.
