Add to WishlistPalm Springs Max16 scented candle is delicately hand engraved with a palm leaf pattern. The deep khaki colored glass recalls the vegetal spirit of this collection.
Spanish explorers called this place in Upper California «la Palma de la mano de dios», the palm of God’s hand.
Mexico became independent in 1823 and Upper California was ceded to the United States in 1848. It was then that American topographic engineers used the name Palm Springs on their cartographic surveys in homage to the Californian palm tree that thrives in this region.
Its fragrance of mint, lemon tree leaves and tonka beans is both refreshing and full of mystery, taking you on an olfactory journey to the edge of the Californian desert.
HOW TO LIT THE CANDLE
Always burn your candle until the whole surface becomes liquid. This step may take a long time, especially during the first burning. When the entire top of the wax is liquid, do not burn it longer than one hour. The top layer of liquid wax should never exceed one centimeter in height.
IMPORTANT: When the candle wax is almost consumed, make sure that one centimeter of unconsumed (unmelted) wax remains. Never burn the candle completely because you risk cracking the vessel. Never burn it down totally and systematically leave one centimeter at the bottom.
OLFACTORY NOTES:
Peppermint, Lemon Leaves, Tonka Beans
