“Enigma is a scent for the kind of woman who doesn’t just grab people’s attention but holds it. She has an air about her that can stop you in your tracks. Do you know her from somewhere or does she just have that certain “it” factor? That is what I wanted to capture in this fragrance – something that feels both familiar and ambiguous at the same time. Therefore, I knew it needed to be a contrast of light and shade. So, I began with a central note of Peach which is an incredibly interesting material that acts like a bridge between the top and base of a fragrance. As a fruit, it ties in beautifully with the juicy freshness of Citrus to create a bright opening. But it is also has a velvety feel which nestles nicely into more sensual materials like Sandalwood and Ambergris. To make sure everything blends beautifully, I layered in the voluptuous tones of Ylang Ylang to make Enigma an indulgent experience.” – ROJA DOVE.
