MariaLx is my muse, she is my perfect alter ego. Maria as virgin, mother, lover. Lux stands forlight, luxury, and lust. The 'L' is me, Lilian Driessen, designer & creative director. I dress. I've been working in this profession since 1987. I embrace work in progress, the effort and collective excitement that lies in the process. As I have touched and have been touched, there are many stories to tell.

The house creates anarchic tailored elegance and raw luxury. A concept I adapt to all products I develop, executed and produced with care and love by masters of their craft. Everything we do we approach with personal attention. We search for exclusivity, privacy, and delicacy in a thoughtful but informal manner.

The perfumes are inspired by love, the most complex, by far most important grandiose human emotion that never will materialize itself. In order to tell the stories, I found a trinity within that are closely connected and cover this intricate sentiment loaded with inner duality.

It's these three ‘typical' love themes I believe we all individually will have experienced at some point in our lives. These deeply felt emotions leave traces on our souls, as in an any most intimate encounter between two people, maybe male and female, their perfume still lingers and finds its way between the sheets after lovemaking. They have been created in collaboration with perfumer Alessandro Gualtieri aka The Nose.
