Delfina Delettrez Fendi is a designer and jeweler based in Rome.She founded her company, Delfina Delettrez, in 2007.

The unique aesthetic of Delettrez’s work comes from the marriage of classical goldsmith techniques with innovative contemporary materials, progressing traditional Italian craftsmanship to create modern, futuristic jewels. Her kinetic pieces –tourbillon bracelets and rings with spinning concentric layers of precious metal, or expandable hinged bracelets named “Detaille Unique” – utilise the excellence of traditional Italianhandicraft, mixing it with postmodern inspirations,the pieces are a fusion of past and future. Delettrez’s designs are hyper-modern, but still hand-made by expert craftsmen.

In 2009,Delfina Delettrez created special jewels designed for “I am Love” directed by Luca Guadagnino featuring Tilda Swinton, Marisa Berenson and Alba Rohrwacher.

Delfina Delettrez created different collections,playful, elegant and timeless. For example, Delettrez’ INFINITY collection plays with reflection, material architecture and optical illusions, continuing the designer’s interest in collectible, mixed-media jewelry with unexpected twists.The collection features faceted metals with highly polished reflective surfaces inset with pearls and precious stones that, like a hall of mirrors, create the impression of infinity.

In October 2018,Delfina Delettrez presented theTWO IN ONEcollection, where she plays with the contrast between punk and classic aesthetics. Round bands are rendered in white and yellow gold and embellished with miniature ball bearings or freshwater pearls to form micro-hoops that puncture through the collection, adding motion to the pieces in their conflicting metals. The micro-piercing is further introduced into signature Delfina Delettrez styles: the classic eye & lip piercing earrings are invaded and re-imagined with the addition of contrasting linear lines and sliced through the dots and marry me rings.

For the latest pieces in theTWO IN ONEcollection,launched in 2019, Delfina Delettrez continues to play with the contrast between punk and classic aesthetics. Round band in white and yellow gold are embellished with akoya pearls, the quintessence of classic, and white gold piercing that, in a rebellious spirit, drill the diamonds. Micro-hoops pierced through the setting of the diamond create a mirage of multiple earrings. Earrings and rings become hybrids that present a warped vision of jewelry placement, merging together to create a twisted concept displacing traditional jewelry codes.
